Will Smart Camera Feeder [M3 Pro] connect to my WiFi network?
Smart Camera Feeder [M3 Pro] requires a 2.4 GHz WiFi signal, as it does not support the 5 GHz band.
How can I disable the camera?
You can turn off the camera through the app settings. Once turned off, it will not record any videos.
How can I view video clips from previous days?
Your device comes with a 90-day free trial of the Pet Vision service, which allows access to the last 7 days of video clips. After the trial, you’ll need a subscription to continue accessing past footage. Plans can be selected based on your needs.
How long are video clips stored on the cloud?
Pet Vision provides limited-time loop storage based on your subscription plan (e.g., 7-day loop). Videos older than the selected time period will be automatically overwritten, but you can download and save any videos you want to keep.
Can my pet shake the feeder to get more food?
No, the feeder is designed with a secure, enclosed structure to prevent food from being dispensed accidentally. It also features a pet-proof lock on the lid to stop pets from opening it. Food is dispensed only according to your preset feeding schedule or by pressing the manual “Feed” button.
How much food can it dispense daily?
Each portion is approximately 20ml/10g (≈1/12 cup). Up to 15 meals a day, 15 portions (150g) per meal, for a total of 2,250g.
Can I customize portion sizes for different meal times?
Yes, portion sizes can be customized for each meal.
What is the feeder’s food storage capacity?
4.4L, holding 2.5–3kg (5.5–6.6lbs) of kibble, which lasts about a month for an average cat eating 80–100g daily.
Can I use wet food in the feeder?
No. The feeder is designed for dry kibble only. Suitable kibble size ranges from 2–15mm in diameter. Larger pieces may block the outlet.
Is this feeder suitable for large pets?
This feeder is best suited for small to medium-sized pets.
Will the feeder still dispense food if it goes offline?
Yes, as long as you’ve set a feeding schedule, the feeder will follow the schedule even when offline. The feeding plan is stored locally on the device.
How is the feeder powered?
The Smart Camera Feeder [M3 Pro] uses a power adapter as its main power source and supports 3 D-cell batteries (sold separately) for backup. It switches to battery mode during power outages to maintain feeding schedules.
How can I encourage my pet to use the feeder?
Place the feeder in your pet’s usual feeding area and avoid setting a schedule initially. Allow your pet to explore it for a day or two. Add some food or treats to help them get familiar. Press the "Feed" button while they are present to create a positive association with the feeder.
